Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 22, 2026
Welcome to Crossmetrics (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Crossmetrics is a SaaS analytics platform for e-commerce businesses. It helps users connect store data and Google services to review sales, marketing performance, ROAS, conversion tracking, and operational metrics in one dashboard.
By accessing or using Crossmetrics, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
1. Services Provided
Crossmetrics provides a SaaS platform that integrates with third-party services (such as PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Google Search Console) to provide unified dashboards, data visualization, and AI-powered insights for e-commerce businesses.
2. Accounts and Sign-In
Crossmetrics uses Google Login for sign-in and secure session cookies to keep account access protected.
To use Crossmetrics, you may need to provide or connect:
- Account information: Name, email address, and Google account profile information provided during sign-in.
- Business information: Company name, store URLs, store identifiers, currency, timezone, and dashboard settings.
- Integration credentials: OAuth tokens, API keys, webhook secrets, and similar credentials needed to operate connected integrations. Sensitive credentials are stored encrypted where applicable.
You are responsible for keeping your Google account and connected services secure.
3. Third-Party Integrations and Data Access
By connecting a third-party service, you authorize Crossmetrics to access data from that service only as needed to provide the features you request.
3.1 Standard Integrations (Real-Time Processing)
For supported platforms (PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Google Services), Crossmetrics operates primarily on a “real-time fetch” basis.
- We DO store: Authentication tokens (encrypted), account identifiers, and basic business metadata (such as store URL, account IDs, linked services, currency, timezone, and descriptive names).
- We DO NOT permanently store: Business metrics, orders, or marketing data in our databases. Data is retrieved from third-party APIs when needed and processed transiently.
For Google services, Crossmetrics may access only the data authorized by you through the permissions you grant, including:
- Google Analytics 4: Aggregated traffic, event, conversion, and performance metrics.
- Google Ads: Campaigns, spend, clicks, and advertising metrics.
- Google Merchant Center: Product information and feed status.
- Google Search Console: Search queries, impressions, clicks, and organic performance.
Crossmetrics does not access email content, contacts, personal files, or other Google data that is not required to provide the service.
3.2 Webhook & Custom Integrations
For integrations using API/Webhooks (such as PrestaShop or custom websites):
- We DO store: Transactional business data (such as order IDs, values, timestamps, and product-related data) required to build historical analytics and reporting.
- We DO NOT store: End-customer Personal Identifiable Information (PII) (such as names, emails, addresses, or phone numbers).
You are responsible for ensuring that custom payloads do not include personal data that Crossmetrics does not require.
3.3 Google API Services Compliance
Crossmetrics’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We:
- Request only the minimum necessary permissions (scopes) required to provide our services
- Use Google data solely to provide analytics dashboards, insights, and reporting features
- Do not use Google user data for training artificial intelligence models
- Do not use Google user data for personalized advertising, commercial profiling, resale, or transfer to data brokers
- Do not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing and improving user-visible Crossmetrics features
- Do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as required to provide the service
We may share data only with infrastructure and processing providers required to operate Crossmetrics, such as hosting, storage, monitoring, authentication, and security providers. These providers are subject to confidentiality and security obligations and may process data only on our behalf.
4. Data Use, Retention, and Security
We use collected data strictly to:
- Provide dashboards and analytics
- Retrieve and display data from third-party services
- Maintain and operate integrations
- Generate insights and reports
We do not use user data for advertising, resale, unrelated profiling, or training artificial intelligence models.
4.2 Data Retention
- Account & Integration Data: Retained while your account is active
- Standard Integration Data: Not permanently stored (processed in real-time)
- Webhook/Custom Integration Data: Retained to support historical analytics while the account is active
- Authentication Tokens: Deleted upon disconnection of integrations or account deletion
Users may request deletion of their data at any time. After an account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or needed to resolve security, fraud, or billing issues.
4.3 Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of sensitive data (such as OAuth tokens)
- Secure transmission over HTTPS (TLS/SSL)
- Restricted access to stored data
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Crossmetrics for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes
- Send end-customer personal data to custom API or webhook endpoints
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or security controls
- Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the platform
- Share access to your account with unauthorized users
6. Intellectual Property
Crossmetrics owns the software, design, content, and service materials provided through the platform. You retain ownership of your business data and data from your connected services.
7. Limitation of Liability
Crossmetrics is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including losses caused by data discrepancies, unavailable integrations, API limits, or business decisions made using analytics or AI-assisted insights.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date where displayed and may notify you inside the application or by email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
