Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 13, 2026

Welcome to Crossmetrics (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Crossmetrics is a SaaS analytics platform for e-commerce businesses. It helps users connect store data and Google services to review sales, marketing performance, ROAS, conversion tracking, and operational metrics in one dashboard.

By accessing or using Crossmetrics, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

1. Services Provided

Crossmetrics provides dashboards, reports, data reconciliation, alerts, and AI-assisted insights for e-commerce teams. The platform may connect to services such as Shopify, PrestaShop, custom webhooks, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Google Search Console.

Crossmetrics is an analytics and decision-support tool. You remain responsible for reviewing data, validating business decisions, and managing your connected accounts.

2. Accounts and Sign-In

Crossmetrics uses Google Login for sign-in and secure session cookies to keep account access protected.

To use Crossmetrics, you may need to provide or connect:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and Google account profile information provided during sign-in.
  • Business information: Company name, store URLs, store identifiers, currency, timezone, and dashboard settings.
  • Integration credentials: OAuth tokens, API keys, webhook secrets, and similar credentials needed to operate connected integrations. Sensitive credentials are stored encrypted where applicable.

You are responsible for keeping your Google account and connected services secure.

3. Third-Party Integrations and Data Access

By connecting a third-party service, you authorize Crossmetrics to access data from that service only as needed to provide the features you request.

3.1 Standard Integrations

For supported services such as Shopify, PrestaShop, and Google APIs, Crossmetrics may retrieve orders, products, campaign metrics, traffic reports, search performance, product feed context, and related business metrics to display dashboards, reports, alerts, and insights.

We store integration credentials, account identifiers, linked-service metadata, settings, and operational metadata needed to maintain the connection.

3.2 Custom Webhooks and APIs

For custom integrations, you may send order and product data to Crossmetrics through API or webhook endpoints.

  • You may send: Order IDs, timestamps, amounts, statuses, product details, refunds, and other business metrics needed for analytics.
  • You must not send: End-customer personal data such as names, emails, postal addresses, phone numbers, payment card data, or other personal identifiers.

You are responsible for ensuring that custom payloads do not include personal data that Crossmetrics does not require.

3.3 Google API Services Compliance

Crossmetrics’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We:

  • Request only permissions needed to provide Crossmetrics features
  • Use Google data solely to provide user-facing analytics, reporting, reconciliation, alerts, and insights
  • Do not use Google user data for advertising
  • Do not sell Google user data
  • Do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or secure the service, comply with law, or with your consent

4. Data Use, Retention, and Security

We use collected and connected data to:

  • Provide dashboards, reports, and analytics
  • Retrieve and display data from connected services
  • Maintain integrations and authentication sessions
  • Generate alerts and AI-assisted explanations
  • Provide support and troubleshoot issues
  • Secure, monitor, and improve the service

We retain account, configuration, and integration data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Authentication tokens are deleted or invalidated when you disconnect an integration or delete your account, subject to technical and legal retention requirements.

We use security measures such as HTTPS, encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, access controls, and server-side session handling.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Crossmetrics for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes
  • Send end-customer personal data to custom API or webhook endpoints
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or security controls
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the platform
  • Share access to your account with unauthorized users

6. Intellectual Property

Crossmetrics owns the software, design, content, and service materials provided through the platform. You retain ownership of your business data and data from your connected services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Crossmetrics is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including losses caused by data discrepancies, unavailable integrations, API limits, or business decisions made using analytics or AI-assisted insights.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect service, technical, or legal changes. Continued use of Crossmetrics after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
