Introduction

Welcome to CrossMetrics (“we,” “our,” or “us”). CrossMetrics is a Unified Analytics Platform for E-commerce that centralizes, cross-references, and analyzes data from sales, marketing, and performance channels.

By accessing or using CrossMetrics, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

1. Services Provided

CrossMetrics provides a SaaS platform that integrates with third-party services (such as Shopify, PrestaShop, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Google Search Console) to provide unified dashboards, data visualization, and AI-powered insights for e-commerce businesses.

2. User Accounts & Data Collection

To use CrossMetrics, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, including:

  • Contact Information: Name, Email address.
  • Business Information: Store URLs, Business IDs.
  • Integration Credentials: Authorization tokens for third-party platforms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. Third-Party Integrations & Data Access

CrossMetrics requires access to your data from third-party services to function. By connecting a service, you authorize us to access and read data from that service using the credentials you provide.

3.1 Non-Storage of Business Data (Standard Integrations)

For supported platforms (Shopify, PrestaShop, Google Services), CrossMetrics operates on a “real-time fetch” basis.

  • We DO store: Authentication tokens, keys, and basic business info (URL, Name).
  • We DO NOT store: Business metrics, orders, or marketing data in our permanent databases. Data is retrieved from the APIs each time you load the dashboard.

3.2 Custom Integrations Exception

For custom integrations (via API/Webhooks):

  • We DO store: Transactional data (Order IDs, amounts, dates) and product data required to build your historical analytics.
  • We DO NOT store: End-customer Personal Identifiable Information (PII) (names, emails, addresses). You agree not to send PII to our API endpoints.

3.3 Google API Services Compliance

CrossMetrics’ use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell your Google user data. We use it solely to provide the analytics features visible in the dashboard.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
  • Send Personal Identifiable Information (PII) of your customers to our Custom API.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the code or AI models.
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and AI models provided by CrossMetrics are the property of CrossMetrics. You retain ownership of your own business data.

6. Limitation of Liability

CrossMetrics is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including data discrepancies or business decisions based on our AI insights.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our service or regulations. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
